Tiger Pride is an in-school volunteer program that was customized in 2018 for our amazing PES community.  Our customized program was inspired by the national program, Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students), which launched in Arkansas in 1998 and is now in over 6000 schools nationwide.

Similar to the nationally recognized program, Tiger Pride was created to enhance male participation and in-school father-figure volunteering; however, our program is open for any adult family member interested in volunteering. Tiger Pride volunteers spend a full school day to assist the staff and faculty with projects, traffic flow, and provide additional helping hands in the classrooms, lunch room, recess, and PTA events. Tasks are assigned through the school's main office and are based on the needs for that particular day.  Volunteers are provided a Tiger Pride t-shirt so that students, teachers and staff can easily identify them while on campus.

For any additional questions, please reach out to the chairperson, David Strain.   We encourage you to call the office for open dates, sign up, and be a PTA Tiger Pride volunteer!
